Hi All,

Just read that daylight savings starts on 4th October this year.

Does anyone know if Friday night racing will start on the 9th October or will there be a bit of a break?

Cheers,

I was told by some "friendlies" within HDCC that Friday Night World Championships will start on the first Friday in NOVEMBER, with 2 lap screamers for each grade (to account for low light conditions on the ride home).

So no racing for HDCC in October bar the crit at Steel River on the same Sunday as the HVVCC Handicap.

Yes - it seems the person I spoke to was misinformed...

Brett Hadley has confirmed that FNWC races start Fri 9/10/09 @ 6pm, cost $5, 2 lap races.

HillNumpty,

A bit "sharp" to query my professional abilities and (perhaps) my honesty. Nice.

To answer your question, the answer is "very well". I am particularily good at cross-examining experts, especially those in scientific fields.

This thread started when Napalm asked about the start date for Friday Night racing. No one from HDCC responded. After a while Iconveyed what I believed tat the time to have been accurate information from sources within HDCC.

No - I did not check the HDCC website and perhaps I should have. That still does not state the start time, which (if my information is correct) should be 6pm.

Will I bother in the future? No - I will leave it to you and those in your club to answer these questions, lest I make another error.

Apologies to Napalm for any confusion.

MC

Hey sorry Metro. It was in jest Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Just thought it funny and was expecting a reply more along the lines of:

"Ha, ha. Yes, good one. Must make sure I don't do that in court.." etc.

Never mind. Will have to sharpen up my joke skills and be sure to liberally insert smileys next time I attempt humour. Jerry Seinfeld I aint!

And, keep replying to people, you are one of the few that does. Don't be worried about mistakes, I make them all the time...

Still in denial then, your illness will continue till you accept that you have been set up.

Boostie is pretty handy on the net, I'm sure he could source a good therapist for you.
